About

I have a broad, 'meta' interest in social sciences and the humanities - my job is to organise postgraduate summer courses in these areas at the Central European University, Budapest, Hungary. In my academic interests, I tend to follow the drift of the exciting courses we run. They tend to vary from year to year, and I can get a bit of a glimpse of the current issues in lots of different fields ranging from the abstract and experimental, e.g. cognitive science to the very practical, such as presentation of mediation skills, a discussion of human rights and drug policy, etc.

In the course of my work I am fortunate to meet many many inspiring academics and professionals who come to CEU's summer school, teach courses, give public lectures, go out with our students to the local pubs where they continue the classroom discussions endlessly into the night. I wish I could occasionally switch places with the students...
