Born on October 4th 1983, in Karlovac, Croatia.

Graduated History and Latin Language with Roman Literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, Croatia (2007).

Master of Arts in Medieval Studies at the Central European University, Budapest, Hungary (2008) - thesis analyses the agenda and rhetorical strategies of William of Tyre in writing on the Byzantine Empire in his Historia Ierosolymitana.

Currently PhD Candidate at the Central European University, Department of Medieval Studies - dissertation will deal with the life and work of a Dalmatian humanist, Nicholas bishop of Modruš (Nicolaus Modrussiensis, 1427-1480). It will explore his roles as a representative of the "Illyrian" (Slavic) community in Rome and as a papal propagandist, by focusing on the two of his works: De bellis Gothorum and Defensio ecclesiasticae libertatis.
